Property Insurance
Our property insurance clients know they can turn to CCP for their most complex claims and lawsuits. CCP’s insurance lawyers have handled and resolved large losses arising from September 11 and Hurricane Katrina, as well as litigated homeowner’s and business interruption claims. We have extensive knowledge and experience in issues of policy interpretation, measurement, fraud and bad faith and have earned a reputation for success both in court and in mediation.
We take pride in doing our part for the insurance industry through leadership and participation. We have chaired the Property Insurance Law Committee of TIPS/ABA (Donald W. Carlson (1994) and Joyce C. Wang (2002)), and the Insurance Bad Faith Committee of the DRI (Robert M. Peterson (1998 – 2002)), and are also active members of the FDCC, IADC and LEA.
CCP can also assist clients with subrogation when appropriate.
